Ohio State University to offer resistance spot welding course in July

Ohio State University will host a two-day Resistance Spot Welding class July 13-14 at its Edison Joining Technology Center in Columbus, Ohio.

“Resistance Spot Welding in the Automotive Industry” is a two-day training program developed by Prof. Menachem Kimchi and Prof. David Phillips in Oregon State University’s Welding Engineering Program and Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Through lectures covering basic concepts and a hands-on laboratory using a DC resistance spot welder, participants will be trained in the resistance spot welding process with an emphasis on its application in the automotive industry.
